Happy Tuesday and welcome to the first of my Tuesday Tarot Reviews! Up first is The Field Tarot by Hannah Elizabeth Fofana, which I was excited to play with in order to review today!
Artwork
This beautiful deck mixes a soft celestial theme and florals in a 2-D art style that captures the attention of the reader. These graphics align well with the meaning of each card in an absolutely stunning way. Fofana plays with the contrasting colors and beautiful celestial and floral backgrounds that sit beneath the centerpieces of each card.
Quality
This deck is made from glossy high-quality cardstock like you would find in a deck of playing cards. These cards are about a standard size for a tarot deck and is 2 ¾ by 4 ¾. The gloss on the cards makes them easy to shuffle and to handle. These 78 cards come in a sturdy and beautiful box that will protect the cards. This box also gives the reader a sneak peak at the graphic within.
Ease for Beginners
This is definitely a deck that I would recommend to beginners. Not only are the graphics easy to interpret, Hannah Elizabeth Fofana also included key words at the bottom of each card to assist in reading. This deck also comes with an informative guidebook that includes in it 4 spreads. This deck follows the Rider Waite Tarot deck layout pretty well, swapping the suit of pentacles out for discs, but is still easy to follow.
